These rules apply to everyone without exception. For your safety and the safety of others, the festival may ask you to leave site if you do not adhere.
Crowd Management
- Do not encourage moshing, stage diving, crowd surfing, “walls of death,” or other hazardous audience activities.
- Security and Stage Managers may stop a performance to ensure audience safety.
- Do not invite audience members onto the stage or any structure.
- Artist management must acknowledge receipt of the Festival Show Stop Procedure and confirm compliance. Any deviation must be agreed with Senior Management in advance.
Health & Safety
- Comprehensive first aid is provided at all times.
- All accidents, incidents, and near misses must be reported to Artist Liaison immediately.
- Report anything unsafe promptly. The Event Safety Advisor’s decision is final.
Noise Management
- Noise levels are monitored by an independent contractor.
- Sound engineers must keep shows within set reasonable limits.
- If off-site noise exceeds limits, PA levels must be reduced until compliant.
- On-site amplified sound must remain within safe limits (to avoid headaches, hearing loss, and other damage).
Show Stop
- Used only for immediate life-safety threats or serious incidents.
- May be called only by: a senior member of the Truck Festival Operational Team, the Stage Manager, or the Pit Security Supervisor.
- If called, the artist must halt the performance immediately.
- Before stage time, the artist representative must meet festival staff to confirm the process.
- The artist representative (Tour Security / Stage Manager / Tour Manager) must remain at the stage throughout the set.
- Ideally, the artist addresses the crowd directly. If not, the Stage Manager will make announcements.
- Restarting the show is decided by Senior Event Management after consulting Security, Medical, Stage Manager, and Artist Party.
